If you have had any of codes listed below appear on you M3, M5 or M6 S65 & S85 engines, you have a faulty throttle body, aka TBA and Throttle Actuator. Changing the gears will NOT fix this actuator. This is an electrical failure and need to be professionally rebuilt. We have our own bespoke test rig for fault finding and testing. We not only repair the electronics but we upgrade them to high power, better quality and higher temperature rating parts, hence we can offer a lifetime warranty.
Typical Actuator failure is "intermittent" and starts of appearing occasionally. Most instances people can turn the engine off and wait 30 seconds and restart the car to get out of limp mode or leaving the car over night. However over time the car will more frequently will go into limp mode and eventually will be permanently in limp mode.
